Arbitration

Mick is available to serve as a arbitrator. He is an accomplished trial lawyer with experience and skill in the process of deciding factual and legal issues. He brings the highest degree of integrity to this important role.

Arbitration is normally a much less expensive and more expeditious way to resolve a case. Rules of evidence are relaxed, and formal discovery is limited, but an approach that respects process and decorum works best to maintain the integrity of arbitrations.

Mick has completed the American Bar Association’s Arbitration Training Institute course. He is the author of “Judicial Enforcement and Review of Arbitration Awards,” Chapt. 8, Arbitration and Mediation (2008) Supplement, Oregon State Bar, Legal Publications.

The fee for arbitration is $350 per hour, shared equally between the parties.
